i can see the boys returning for 2014, maybe close the gobi
after having to cancell their 2nd weekend slot this year, and having their set cut short on weekend one

Many they did a good job, better than Kasabian at Reading last year I think.

Crazy the slot they were given at Coachella

    Mon the Biff!

I think this is realistic if Golden Voice pushes it. Simon Neil seems like a stand up guy who would want to redeem Coachella 2013.

Makes sense! However if I was Biffy I would just stay overseas where people know who they are.

I have to say, I haven't really followed the Biff since their third album. They've had a couple of good tracks here and there (That Golden Rule for example), but it just hasn't been my thing. But I watched the footage at Reading, and they were excellent. Nice to hear some classic tracks in the set.

Has anyone heard Simon's old side-project, Marmaduke Duke?

This band is bad. They don't deserve their success overseas. Fuck these guys. Don't bring them back. One weekend of 2013 was bad enough.

Don't deserve the success? When they were touring their first couple of albums they were one of the hardest working bands I've ever seen. Plus they are excellent live. Yeah, the new stuff isn't as inventive/weird, but they are still an impressive act live.

Gary Numan LIVES in LA and they didn't book him in 2011/2012/2013. La Roux flaked out on her booking and GV invited her back.
