I don't see a comparison between Lorde and Grimes in terms of popularity. Lorde is far more popular. I think she'll either be in the Mojave or Outdoor. I don't want her on the Main.

If Grizzly Bear, M83, Gotye, and Major Lazor can play the Mojave, so can Lorde.

Actually, just remembered how batshit insane the overflow was for Major Lazor.

This is true, but Janelle Monae's popularity at the time of her performance doesn't match where Lorde is right now. I would not be surprised if she was in the Mojave, but it will be a complete mess if she is.

Hoping for an afternoon main stage set, similiar to Joss Stone (2:40) or Santigold (3:25)

I wouldn't be at all surprised if she has a sub-headlining spot, and closes the outdoor on one of the days.

According to Wikipedia, Royals just finished its eighth straight week at the top of Billboard Hot 100. Gotye's song had 8 weeks at #1 as well, and everybody said that was a train wreck in the Mojave. She will be at least outdoor.

Either outdoor or I could see her in a late afternoon- early evening main stage spot like The Lumineers had this year.

Didn't Mumford & Sons sub-headline with only a debut album released?

They were 2nd row on the poster, yeah. Lorde will almost certainly be that, or at least no lower than 3rd. She's got a platinum single and an album that will likely be gold by the time the lineup is announced. That's not typical of most undercard acts, whether she has one album or not.

She is playing here in Portland! Oregon tomorrow. I missed the on-sale and currently scalpers want $100+ for their tickets. Crazy.

So I heard that one song on the radio and I don't like it because she's waffling in the chorus like a typical teenager. Gettin "kinda" tired. Zzz
