Yeah it was a great game. UCLA looked like a team that is capable of being in a BCS bowl this year. Also I gained a lot of respect for Nebraska and what they did. The Blue and Gold Balloons, The Moment of Silence, The number and the back of the helmet, and then both teams joining together at the end of the game even though they just choked a game away. First class of them, much respect indeed for them, I am routing for them in the Big 10 now.

I also love how Oregon only 10 points at the end of the first, but 52 with 6 minutes left in the third. I don't even think they can be referred to as an up tempo offense anymore, they need a new word for them now.

Yeah, Nebraska was beyond class in the game today, even as their squad fell into desperate play in the fourth. I was very grateful to see such support and welcome from a rival team and to see these guys come together at the end was something else. It was touching.

On the more humerus side of things this picture was taken 25 mins before kick off today at the Coliseum

Yeah between both the BAMA/A&M and Oregon/Tennessee game being on at the same time if I were an SC fan I wouldn't want to watch it either.

The SC "fans" were probably at home acting like UCLA "fans" because we're looking better this season. Fairweather fans will go wherever the wind blows.

That's Big 10 whining for you is more like it.

Yes the Big 10 is back in all its glory this year folks. Nebraska got trounced by UCLA. Penn St lost to Central Florida. Michigan almost lost to Akron. Wisconsin -- supposedly the #20 team in the country? -- craps its pants at Arizona State. But hey at least the league can beat Western Michigan and Western Illinois and Youngstown State.

(in comparison, the Pac 12 this weekend beat Nebraska, Wisconsin, Tennessee, Boston College, and Illinois).

It looked like that Wisconsin QB didn't even take a knee, so the Arizona State DL jumped on the ball because that's a fumble. The Wisconsin QB tried to get too cute during that play.

And didn't the refs gift Wisconsin like 15 yards before that. The Wisconsin WR was out of bounds twice on that long reception.

I still can't believe what I witnessed last night at Blackout Bucky. Bottom line: Stave wasn't smart. Who sets a ball down like that?!

The refs were awful on both sides. Wiscy player was out of bounds on the long reception, so they should've spotted the ball near mid-field.

I'm just glad ASU got the W. Onto Stanford, go Devils!

As dumb as the QB was, that's on the coach. Get your field goal unit out there and kick the damn ball.

Oh yeah, that, too. No excuse for them not to attempt the fg from the right hash. They snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

I just want to say Roll Tide, y'all. Mr. Goomba and I were Yankee transplants many years ago when we met-graduated from U of A.

It was quite a culture shock. The football mentality was pretty fun to become immersed in.

Now Wisconsin fans can blame the refs instead of their dumbass QB for super sloppy execution.

The refs fucked up, but not as bad as that QB did.

I just finally watched what happened and I agree as bad as the refs screwed that up, the Coach and the QB should totally get the blame.

Yes but the more important question is if they are going to cover or not.

Stanford looked pretty stout for about 3 quarters on Saturday. Still a lot of room for improvement though.

One thing is certain. It will be yet another horribly-played game between the two.

NCAA walking back Penn State scholarship reductions.

“While there is more work to be done, Penn State has clearly demonstrated its commitment to restoring integrity in its athletics program,” said Mitchell.
Yep, no child rapes or massive institutional cover ups during the last eighteen months. Good work.
