So has it been made explicit that Friday will be a full day now? I haven't been since it was 4 days, but Friday then always seemed to start around 4.
EDIT: It seems to make sense with the amount of acts playing, but I just thought there might be some sort of official announcement.

Sasquatch was 3 full days, then they added the somewhat shortened 4th day. I don't see why they would go down to less than 3 full days.
Yeah that was a remarkably stupid comment on my part.

Kraftwerk is playing Vancouver Thursday July 3rd at Queen Elizabeth Theater.
My family will be at both May and July Squatches this year...of course....and as usual I put out the same offer....for those flying in I have tents, a few shade canopies and a few sleeping bags to loan out. We camp in general camping, have a big camping kitchen if you want to cook, and we are happy to share what we have:-) Looking forward to 2 weekends of Sasquatch excellence!
So who all is going Weekend 2??
Yo I'll be there Weekend 2 with a group of friends. First time at the Gorge so looking forward to it but somewhat peeved I'm now missing Marcel Fengler and Sigha in SF. If you are going, I would say a meetup is a must.
I'd like to catch Kraftwerk (among others) so I'm kinda toying the idea of making it to Weekend 2. A meet up would be necessary no doubt about it.
I think weekend 2 isn't selling very well, but I haven't heard anything about cancelling it. Doing refunds for that would be a disaster.
I'm quite looking forward to a half sold Sasquatch with less <20 year olds.
New Order/Kraftwerk in Vancouver isn't helping.
iamthehorn SPEAK TO US
10/18-19: Treasure Island Music Festival
10/22: Roman Flugel @ f8
10/25: Moodymann @ PW
11/20: The Drive by Truckers, Sturgill Simpson @ The Fillmore
It's a shame that weekend 2 has the better of the two lineups, because I knew from the start that this was a horrible idea. For the sake of the people putting it together and the people who already bought tickets, I hope it doesn't get canceled, but it really wouldn't surprise me at all. You just ain't Coachella, Sasquatch. Different lineup or not.
It's a blogger in Atlanta who spoke to someone on the lineup. Could be complete bullshit, especially if no one else has heard anything. Figured if it was true someone on here would know. https://www.facebook.com/YouOughtToH...ation=timeline
This doesn't sound good, first time we've skipped Coachella to try another US fest as figured Sasquatch really knew what they were doing adding the extra weekend. We've already booked and paid for flights, hotels, cars, etc so not surprisingly we're really hoping they just carry on with the low ticket numbers and learn the lesson for next year.
If this does get cancelled and any of you are at Nick Cave in Seattle just before the July Sasquatch weekend and see 3 miserable looking Australians (that aren't Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds) then say hello...
That sucks! Hotels and rentals you should be able to cancel without any penalty. Pacific Northwest should be nice during 4th of July and all major cities will have a big party that weekend. Wouldn't be the music festival atmosphere you expected but you would have fun if you never been before. But yeah I hope they go on as well and this is all moot for you. I personally think larger festivals are more of a headache then anything nowadays. IMO 20-40k is the perfect size to easily get up close to a stage if you want to and crowds are way less stressed out. Come on Sasquatch!
It'd be cheaper and easier for Live Natino/Sasq to save face by adding a extra headliner. NIN for instance who has space in the schedule..
LN wouldn't had put the New Order Vancouver pre-sale on today is this were true, only other Northwest gig by them. Ditto Kraftwerk Vancouver, which was put on sale 2 weeks after JulySquatch.

I have to remind myself that this is all just baseless speculation at the moment so maybe I shouldn't get too carried away assuming they've already cancelled it! Worst case scenario is we still have a great time that weekend and I hear the PNW has no shortage of wineries and breweries so I'm sure we won't get bored!
