Alrteady better than last year, and that was super super fun
I always plan to go to this and then wind up not going at the last minute.
Special Guest headliner to be announced
Genre: Indie Pop
They said it was an LA based band that recently released an album. So.... who gives off a Grouplove-esque feel? Capital Cities? Airborne Toxic Event?
Shieeet I really wanted to go again but Ill be in Vegas that weekend
If end up going to this, i am going to try really hard to actually watch some music. last year ended up seeing two bands and the rest of the day turned into a crazy drunken pub crawl. I think we went to 6 or 7 bars. it was still awesome.
what about wavves as the surprise, they are from LA and just had an album release, but they dont fit that whole "indie pop" genre
My thread is better
"why are you so annoying" TheKlein25
So the make music pasadena page website shows the indie headliner as a photo of a shark. Youngblood Hawke has tons of photos of sharks all over their facebook page and are LA based and just released an album. Maybe that's it?
Check out my concert photos http://www.flickr.com/photos/ameeps/
2/6 - Pixies - Peabody Opera House
2/15 - Arctic Monkeys - Pageant
3/14 - This Will Destroy You - Echo
3/20 - Lorde - Peabody Opera House
3/28 - Real Estate - Firebird
The surprise headliner is indeed Youngblood Hawke.
I can't really complain since it's a free festival.
They were kind of terrible last night.
Went just for YACHT. Great set, as usual. And good crowd, despite the heat. Although I didn't understand the pit circle at the end.
(Also saw a pit circle at Coachella for Vampire Weekend. I don't get it.)
Mazxy star was nice and dreamy robightm crowd wouldn't follow no photo request. First time in the green room. Mmm free beer and wine.glad I got to see them Cruz I missed Coachella 3012
Bros just wanna have fun.
edit: i don't feel like adding a reply to supre below but yes, I understand what a "circle pit" is.

Moshing, youve done it....
Was pleasantly surprised at how many people showed up early for Superhumanoids at 1pm. Set was killer. Also saw We Are Scientists, a bit of Robert DeLong and all of Tanlines shortened set (late start, technical issues...ugh). Overall great day, glad that Fiesta La Grande had an entrance directly to the bar near the stage.
