Definitely Iron Maiden...some of the head hanchos even said on the SS Coachella that Iron Maiden is a band they've thought about headlining....I could see it happening, and would be totally for it.
Yes, yes they would be.

Iron Maiden would be awesome, they definitely have a stronger folowwing than Stone Roses here in the states. However, I am not sure what percentage of potential Coachella goers are followered of them and would skip out for some crap EDM. Still they would be awesome.
Prince (already mentioned)
Red Hot Chili Peppers (hopefully in the never again catergory)
Radiohead (should be in the too soon category)
Thats all I can think of, off the top of my head. Nice list and well organized. Hopefully this can be used during next season's headliner speculation season.
But if Iron Maiden Headlines how could we get a ticket before all of the a'Mexicans buy our tickets!

Iron Maiden fans would pay for the 3 day pass JUST for them...they have to be some of the most die hard fans i've ever encountered....plus would not ditch out to see EDM trust me....AND they would fill the main stage like no other headliner in the past so no stone roses part deux for sure....
this would be a dream come true but i have my doubts still on this genre leading the way for coachella...but i hope im wrong
Neil Young should be under blockbusters. He's less 'out of genre' (sic) than Elton John.
Fui quod es, eris quod sum. I once was what you are, you will be what I am - epitaph carved on Roman gravestones.
Beastie Boys!? Are you serious!? Kill yourself..PLEASE
Also, how are Eminem and Watch the Throne "Out of genre" when all 3 have played Coachella before?
Eminem was a guest spot, by that logic Korn should be able to play Coachella as well.
