The $85 line was kind of a mess. That was like 30 min to get ur tixs. Therefore I think they pushed backed their start time to 9. It was cool they played their full set and went pass curfew till 1130 though. How was the sound for the people on the floor? Cause we got 300s and the vocals were really low. Either way cant really complain w/ 85 bucks to see full Stones concert.

Awesome, awesome show! I ended up in 117 right to the side of the stage, 3 rows from the front. The people in front of me paid $600/each for their tickets. It was pretty surreal to be that close and to pay that little.

They are charging a ton so the scalpers cant profit as much as they could if tickets cost half as much.

    So what?

I was worried that the RS would be one of the headliners this year - thankfully they didn't take up one of the spots. Seeing them now would be like seeing a shell of them and I couldn't be happier they didn't perform at Coachella.

So my single ticket for the 5/15 Honda Center show arrived in the mail this weekend. Looking to sell it for FV ($178.90) if anyone's interested. Sec 440, Row L.

Im not surprised at all. I originally thought I read Tom Waits was supposed to OPEN for The Rolling Stones and I kinda freaked out. Him performing with them is still pretty cool though.

I was a little suspicious when I found out they were going to release more $85 tix the day of the show. This told me that most likely a lot of the premium seats were not being sold, so to ensure that the lower bowl isn't completely empty they decided they better sell at a discount price to avoid the potential embarrassment. Just as I suspected, the reason they are releasing more $85 tix is because no one is paying their insane ticket prices!! I hope this is a lesson learned for the Stones. This is my favorite band of all time and I am ecstatic that I already procured my $85 tix, but their ticket prices and business practices are abominable. Shame on you Rolling Stones!!

all those people who paid between two and six hundred dollars must be pleased about the extra $85 tickets on sale.

what is shameful about a for-profit business trying to maximize revenue? Are they exploiting the world's poor with shoddy factories in dangerous conditions? Are they lying to or otherwise deceiving their customers? I'm not seeing it.

I got nosebleeds with the $85 tickets and still had the best time! The people around us were awesome and everyone was just enjoying the hell out of themselves. I nearly shat myself when Tom Waits came out. Def a story to tell the kids when I'm an old man.

Did the SJ $85 tickets go on sale yet?

To anyone who got the $85 tickets - once you received the tickets were you indeed swiftly escorted to your seats, as described on the Stones' website? Did it seem like there was any possibility to pick up your tickets and let a family member go in place of you? I understand it will probably differ from venue to venue.

It would have been easy to hand off to family/friends in Oakland if they waited in the $85 line with you, but tougher if they didn't. They didn't keep track of the number of members in your group. There was a gap after you picked up tickets, but you were in a separate corral until you entered the venue. Just don't go to regular will call. Look for the longest, slowest line you can find, and that's the $85 line.

I saw the stone for 5 dollars on their babylon tour and wanted my money back.

Did they ever end up releasing more $85 tix for the San Jose show? I thought they were going to do so for every show...maybe I am wrong. Their Staples show blew my mind...I don;t know how the hell you can rock so hard at age 70.

They were fucking amazing last night in SJ, 70 years old and still the greatest rock and roll band in the world. I was real happy that they didn't play their two new songs and that encore was insane (YCAGWYW, JJF, Satisfaction). During the encore I was transported back to 1972 especially when Mick Taylor came back out for Satisfaction (The first time he's played Satisfaction with the Stones since 73). The entire band was at their best, on the verge of completely falling apart but barely hanging on by a thread and it was pure rocking bliss. I've seen the Stones 6 times in my life and this was the best show of theirs I've seen.

Did anyone go to the Honda Center last night? I'll be there Saturday and I'd like to have an idea how stressful the $85 ticket lineup is, what time I should get there, etc.

If I'm able to score one of those last-minute pairs of $85 tix for tomorrow, does anyone want the other ticket?
