I tried to get tickets to tonight's LA show with my girlfriend - $170 after fees for each ticket was the cheapest pricing option available and we decided it wasn't worth it to sit in the far corner of the upper deck.

There were no $85 tickets available for LA at the time of on-sale.

They have two Anaheim shows May 15/18 and another Staples center show on the 20th, you could try for the $85 tix for those shows

I just checked Vegas (the show closest to me) again out of curiosity -- lower bowl tickets are like $710 each.

Not VIP, not super close, just normal lower bowl arena tickets.

I didn't attempt to buy LA tickets, but my experience with the Las Vegas sale was that the $85 tickets were "there" in the sense that there was a link and a theoretical opportunity to purchase, but that they were instantly sold out.

Hmm, I logged on right at 10:00 on the Monday of the on-sale to purchase and they said non-available. Maybe I just was too slow by going on right at the on-sale.

    Did you get them?

I recommend Anaheim for the Stones. Last time was really good, everyone was dancing. CHeryl Crow opened.

Dammit you guys, they are releasing additional $85 tix for every single show THE DAY OF THE SHOW ONLY. The amount that will be available will probably be determined by how many empty lower bowl seats there are. So potentially, you could be paying $85 the day of the show for a lower bowl seat that is, as of right now, priced around $600-$700. In order to have a chance to get these tickets you have to get on the Stones' FB page. On their page they posted a link in which one registers to be notified as soon as the $85 tix go on sale the day of the show that you want to attend.

Umm, they released the ones for tonight at about 3pm yesterday. And they tweet it out, so who cares about the email list thing. Its no ''luck of the draw' as it seems to project.

The Echoplex setlist didn't look that great anyway. Unimaginative. Too much catering. Facebook? Bah.

That is the link that takes you to the register page so you will be notified as soon as the $85 tix go on sale. It looks like the Oracle tix already sold out. Next up should be the SJ show. So if you are in the Bay Area and want a chance to see the Stones for $85 per, I recommend you register your name and e-mail.

Just went to look for "Best Available" tickets for tonight. Pulled up a pair to the side of the stage lower bowl, great position.

What are they going to do with these? They hit the stage in 5 hours and if you were going to pay $1,200 for those you would have already.

You find out your seat on the night of the show. Could be anywhere in the arena.

Probably for both l.a. and anaheim shows. I kinda figured Gwen would show up for Anaheim.

Totally random with the $85 tickets. Just a giant stack of them in no specific order. Were about 250th in line, many 100s behind around the block, people at the very front who waited all morning got upper deck 301, next person got tongue pit. Starting doing the tickets a bit before 7, got a pair in section 103.

So yeah, good luck everyone going to the shows. As the lady in line said, "Doesn't really matter, you're seeing The Stones!"

Random is fine with me. Even if I get nosebleeds I'm still getting two nosebleed tickets for the price of one regular priced ticket

Just because you were in the height of your grumpy post-punk faze when the album was released doesn't mean that the album isn't pretty damn great. Especially for a band 20 years into their career.

And Tom, I first heard the album well after listening to the classic 60s/early 70s stretch, and I think it's a classic. We can fight if you'd like. Say, Fun Fun Fun, day 2 by the main beer stand.
