I love the new setup for the do lab, it was the highlight of my weekend
I like the Do lab but they should relocate it, too much sound bleed
Get rid of this piece of shit, I hate the crowd and what it brings to coachella
The Do lab is cool, I just want it to be relocated to the campgrounds
I love the Dolab. Put it in the campgrounds and have it go till 4 am
Keep it in the same location and go back to the 2012 format
Seems like it'd make sense. Come on P.T. do itttt
so the food court patrons would have to endure wobbling bass as they eat their fish tacos? Not something I'd want
The thumping from the Yuma made that area pretty deafening anyway.
The real answer is that the Do Lab needs to go back to a shape like this, which at least was good for projecting the sound away from all the other stages. Sure it was annoying as fuck when you were first walking into the venue because it was aimed straight at the entrance and completely drowned out everything else, but the sound bleed didn't hit you if you were anywhere on the sides or behind the speakers:
^ you must have some bomb photo shop skills cuz thats to good to be true

Yeah 2011's Do Lab was the best set up by far. I still don't understand why they went back to the open-air design.
10/8 - Little Dragon @ Marquee (Tempe, AZ)
10/11 - Carolina Chocolate Drops @ Rialto Theater (Tucson, AZ)
11/10 - The Black Keys @ US Airways Center (Phoenix, AZ)
4/10/15 - 4/12/15 - Coachella
The Do Lab needs to go and needs to be turned into a sweet psychedelic art installation so we can all enjoy that instead of water cannons and bass
The DO Lab is the DON'T LAB for me. There's not Do Lab at other festivals like Primavera Sound, Glastonbury, Sasquatch or Governor's Ball.
The extras like art installations, Do Lab, craft beer, and activities are what make Coachella special, even if you don't partake yourself.
