Menik's boot of the show is amazing, too. Seek it out to relive the night.
Was Phil Daniels there for Parklife? Because that blew my mind last weekend

Always wear a helmut
I had no idea how big of a Blur fan I was until I saw them on Friday. I knew & sang along to almost every song & don't even own 1 Blur album. Great set.
Easily my favorite set of the weekend. Damon had energy to spare. His voice was awesome. The band sounded great. I didn't know what to expect after the weekend 1 reviews and i remember Gorillaz in 2010 being a little underwhelming for me but they put up an amazing performance. True headliner performance.
^ I liked she was trying sooo hard to hold hands with him, but he wasn't doing it
'That was fun'
I can't stop listening to Blur after seeing them on Friday night.
probably my favorite set of the entire weekend (1)...Damon rocked my world
So, I'm interested to know the band's thoughts on Coachella. Damon went on record saying that Gorillaz at Coachella in 2010, at the time, were the best couple weeks he'd ever spent in the States. I wonder if he had another positive experience.
Somehow everything came together on weekend 2. Not sure why-- I have great memories from both weekends...but Friday- wk 2 slayed!
That's the thing I was worried about for this set, Damon's heart really is in Gorillaz I think. Blur must seem pretty old hat these days. Even though they fucking killed it Weekend 2 he didn't have that Hyde Park-ish grin on the whole time (and why would he?). Still loved it though, it was fun and Blur destroyed it.

I can't say anything about their w2 performance, but I felt they were killer on w1. The first time I was able to sing along with every song in a whole set. Awesome.
