Holy shit. All I have to say. And I agree that OSL should've gotten The Cure over RHCP. Hell, Lionel Richie would've been better!
2014 Wishlist: Depeche Mode - Nine Inch Nails - My Bloody Valentine
Neutral Milk Hotel - Sigur Ros (closing the main) - The National - Boards of Canada
i'm excited about the aftershows. with this being 2 weekends now I expect there will be a ton of options. really hoping for a qotsa after show.
Just cancel Woodystock, youll make it.
That's how it's always been.
No NIN. If I had to guess I would say that FFF grabbed them instead. That fest caters more to harder stuff and they'll be in NO for Voodoo the weekend before. Would not be surprised at all.
This lineup is pretty damn awesome. 225 too.
Already had my tickets... Voodoo and ACL are my festivals this year.
Fitting, since I just passed the Texas bar exam. Time to be a Dallas lawyer and ACL fan!
Also, to anyone that wants to go to this, the tickets go on sale at 10am local time. This will sell out tomorrow, so be ready.
I saw the lineup...
And I was like....
I really want to go to this, but adding the cost to travel just makes it a little difficult :/
Remembering 10 years of blink-182's iconic untitled record
Besides Kaskade, what other electronic acts are on this years lineup?
such a badass lineup. ill have to cop some craigslist wristbands later.
What confuses me is who they're going to give the headlining slots to... ACL has 2 main stages on opposite sides of the park and generally has 5 headliners; 2 on Friday, 2 on Saturday and one uncontested headliner on Sunday that closes down the fest. That being said, there's 8 bands that are big enough for headlining status. If you go by the billing that would mean Lionel Ritchie and Phoenix are subs, which is really hard to believe. Maybe this year there will be 2 Sunday headliners? Very interested to see how the schedule turns out.
lionel ritchie is not hard to fathom as a sub.
hola? es a mi a quien estα buscando?
Really like the lineup, but I cant travel for another festival this year especially with MOEMS also being in October. The only act that I am not seeing elsewhere that I am jealous of is AFP, but I can live with missing them.
it's usually in the low to mid 80s in october. it does get humid though, but i'd say it's no worse than lolla.
this lineup is really tempting me. I guess I have a couple hours to think about logistics before the passes go on sale. I've wanted to pay a visit to ACLF for a while now, but with 2 weekends of Coachella, 5 days of Lightning in a Bottle, Outside Lands, girls thread beach trip, and various shows in the area my bank account and vacation time bank are really struggling. I really want to make this work, though. I'm already considering sacrificing the first couple days of LiB (Thursday and Friday) and working during the day and festing at night since it's my hometown festival and I can . if I do that, I think I can manage a quick turn and burn to Austin for weekend 2.
so, passes are expected to sell out near instantly? is it probably best to pick up a pass and hope for the best if I'm leaning towards going? decisions, decisions. guess I'll see you all in the waiting room.
