I doubt they can enforce "mandatory" registrations i'll have to ask that the wristbands i'm bidding on via ebay are unregistered.

yeah, and it later says that registered wristbands get quicker assistance, so that would mean that they expect unregistered wristbands as well.

hopefully they have lots of giveaways. a lot of OSL attendees seemed to win cool things from shirts and blankets to ticket upgrades and made me regret not picking up a wristband and scanning it in here and there.

Phosphorescent vs Tame Impala is seriously killing me. It's my only conflict I haven't made a decision on yet....what direction is everyone else going in??

I wouldn't mind catching a few songs by Phosphorescent after The National on my way to Phoenix, but yeah, this is a bummer conflict. I've seen Tame Impala twice this year, so at least that's not a problem for me.

Lucky! I have yet to see either. I'm leaning towards going to all of Phosporescent's set then catching the last 30 of Tame Impala. But we will see

Hey weekend 1 people, Frankie Knuckles will be spinning a 2 hour set at Kingdom on October 5th. I plan on heading over after the National finishes up at Stubb's.

Yep, and if you're staying at a hotel, take one of the little towels they leave for you to the fest. It's good for wiping away the sweat and dirt.
We're here to play some Mississippi Delta Blues. We're in a horrible depression, and I gotta admit - we're starting to like it.

Are the set times/stages equal to the way the stages are setup (not sure I worded that correctly). Basically are the AMD and Samsung Galaxy stage on opposite sides of the park? and what's the walk like from stage to stage?

    Here's my daily schedule
Friday (arriving late...sad about missing Savages) - Pacha Massive > Fun > Local Natives > Black Angels > Arctic Monkeys > Depeche Mode > Muse
Saturday - Parquet Courts > Autre Ne Veut > Electric Guest > Portugal The Man > Grimes > Passion Pit > The Cure
    Sunday - Foxygen > D'Angelo > Franz > Toro y Moi > The National > Tame Impala > Phoenix > Atoms For Peace

The only full sets i'm committed to are Depeche, Grimes and The Cure, so open to suggestions during other bands if you think i'm overlooking something, especially during the large gaps I have early Sunday.

$255 for 2 wristbands. I'm seeing a lot of Buy It Now auctions around $160-$180 each (when you buy a pair) for Weekend 2

I'd get in touch with front gate. I got mine on september 3rd and my boyfriend got his on august 31st. both for weekend 2.

I didn't login to my front gate account to check shipping status, but I don't remember seeing any tracking info, they just showed up one day.

At least we sorted it out... can't wait for this festival.

More like ACL's layout is similar to Lollapalooza, but the main stages are not nearly as far apart.

Well yeah, Grant Park is much bigger. I meant the stage placement is virtually the same. two main stages at each end of the field, one smaller stage across from each main stage and a couple side stages scattered along the park. they also have the kiddie area at ACL as well.

The question specifically addressed "the walk between stages," so saying it is identical to Lolla isn't accurate. The walk from one end of Grant Park to the other is the worst part about Lolla.

EDIT: I must clarify I find bros and sluts mildly entertaining, so the walk from one end to the other still wins for the worst part of Lolla.

I guess what I meant to say is the layout is identical but the distance is much shorter at ACL.
