Coachella has no chairs. So I guess this increases the chance of a riot.
BTW, Delta PF
it's that damned liberal media bias.
Maybe they were wheelchairs.Did the venue have choo-choo tracks?
Goldenvoice is expecting daily attendance about the same as last year, meaning about 180,000 people are expected at the festival.
I am confused by the attendance numbers. I thought GV capped it at 55,000 per day.
plus all the people who don't pay for tickets, maybe? artist guest list, gv guestlist, etc. just a possibility.
Here's the deal. I just got my 3 day pass. I'm sure that the agencies that have deals with Ticketmaster had finally realized that there aren't too many retards out there that are going to pay the astronomical prices they were charging. I found it to be quite comical. I hope the agencies lose a lot of money for their greed. There's one in particular that really needs to bite the big universal weenie. That's Ticketsiwant.com
Hi there Vinylmartyr.. I,m trying to buy a ticket through ticketmaster from Australia, but the pricks won,t accept credit cards from outside of the U.S.... Can I pleeeease buy 1 ticket off you.... I pay good price...
Mr. Toilet is full of crap.
Basically the agencies that Golden Voice and Ticketmaster have deals with realized (big suprise ) that they aren't going to sell their tickets at the crazy cracked out prices they had them going for! They know that more than a quarter of the "Sold Out" tickets are currently sitting un-sold in the various rip off sites like: ticketsiwant.com or stubhub or ticketsnow. The turn out would be pretty sad if they didn't release more tickets. Coachella wasn't a sell out. Mr. Toilet and Golden Voice are the sell outs and it failed miserably...Muahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
here is the deal with tickets:
promoters have a maximum capacity that they can sell to start. for various reasons but safety regulations come into play as well. once the initial sell out happens, they will review what tickets they will get from other promtions that fall through ( radio contests, vip tickets, comp tickets to artists and etc etc.) once they get an idea what is left they will resell to the public as a courtesy. they technically dont have to sell anymore tix as they have already reached their goal level and also sold out the initial amt they had. every single event goes through this. sports, music, ballet, your kids recital, etc. it happens so gv, although might have us packed like sardines, is doing their thing like any other promoter.
and also if you go with notion that they are seling them to be greedy. bottom line is they can give those away to high profile people for promotion and that is worth much more than selling them to the average fan. so they are doing a service. not kissing ass, just a reality of good promotion vs greedy by giving to the corporate people.
i have one 3day pass and 4nite camping face cost $350 bay area california firstname.lastname@example.org
why are people still paying above face on ebay if tix are available on ticketmaster? i know... they aren't paying THAT much above face anymore, but why bother?
It's real... go to ticketmaster.com... I just got mine for face at $290 including fees.
U still have tiX? how much you askin for?
