remember when coachella tried to pass Jack Johnson as a headliner. God he was awful. That has to be the worst ever!

The worst performance at Coachella isn't even close...shit there isn't even a 2nd place
Bjork won hands down
shitty music - f'd up weird costumes on stage that made no sense
if she was the only thing I could hear I'd rather be deaf
I really liked the album but I thought Jagwar Ma was horrendous. Honestly one of the worst sets I've ever seen at Coachella. Left after three songs
It wasn't the worse but today i was thinking about how I was actually Embarrassed that I was watching Snoop Dog when he started performing *Drop* it like it's hot.

I arrived in America's airport with clothings, US dollars, and a jar of gypsy tears to protect me from AIDS.
The Cult were sadly the worst thing all weekend.
I'm with Ajo209 and kellybuck99: I thought Shlohmo was quite good, and Jagwar Ma outstanding (in fact, near the top of my list for the festival). Both weekends.
Interesting how people -- ostensibly into similar music (else why be at Coachella catching these acts?) -- can have such opposite reactions to performances.
I mean, I can see being "meh -- didn't do that much for me" or suchlike, but to have actually found Shlohmo "awful" and, especially, Jagwar Ma "horrendous... one of the worst sets I've ever seen at Coachella" does not compute. Like, at all. Particularly since spence liked Jagwar Ma's album.
I'm not trying to gainsay spence's or nyarlathotoats' (holy shit that's a mouthful!) or mikeoley's reaction's to these acts. No doubt you experienced them as negatively as you said, and are wondering how the hell others like myself found them to be so good, even outstanding. Amazing to me just how wide the gulf can be in how we experience the same thing.
People are weird, every last damn one of us.
yeah Jagwar Ma was incredible...
