  1. #1

    Default ID-passport copy works?

Can I use passport copy for ID instead of the original passport?

It's iffy. Security doesn't always even accept a passport for age verification.

A photocopy will not be accepted. Your passport will. Ever since two/three years ago passports in California are recognized as a valid form of age verification verification. The reason why it wasn't before is stupid. SOmething about not having a current address... blah blah blah. But I know it's ok to use your passport because I'm a bartender and every few years we have to take an alcohol safety class instructed by a Sheriff. So, NO copy. YES, passport.
