    Default R.I.P. Kurt Vonnegut

Sad day, folks. Here's the story:

For fans, in memoriam, which is your favorite Vonnegut book? Breakfast of Champions gets my vote.

Just for future reference, any thread beginning with "It's raining" means someone has died. This is usually followed by a somewhat clever description of the person, so it isn't necessarily obvious who has died at first.

Yeah, I figured that out after the fact. I jumped on it without checking. Apologies.

Kurt Vonnegut is in heaven and Ronald Reagan is in a place worse than hell.

Cat's Cradle is the correct answer.

Do they make a Kurt Vonnegut for Dummies book? Or maybe Cliff Notes or Spark Notes for any of his work?

I was actually joking in my last post, he is an easier read than James Joyce, for example.

Yeah, I haven't really tackled much James Joyce yet, just A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man and that one book of short stories.

The one book I could never stomach was Silas Marner, I was supposed to read it in high school and found it incredibly unbearable.
