Very short, but quite excellent. I definitely enjoyed it... not enough to even entertain the thought of missing Disclosure though.

Loving all these suggestions. I am actually kinda stoked the music doesn't start till 7 each day. Gives you time to sleep and still be able to get up an explore the city.

If you guys ended up with a blank spot on your set times Jherek Bischoff would be a cool act to see he was the bass player for Both Paratheical Girls and Xiu Xiu.He has an orchestra project and a band project(which he has done a Captain Beefheart Cover in the past).I am not sure what to suspect but I would try to see him.

Highland Brewery from Asheville is good but if you guys see Terrapin(from Athen,GA) I would drink that over anything else.

Was HTDA on this line up initially? It looks like they dropped off the Voodoo lineup.

They canceled we speculated why they dropped out a few pages back. Probably the cost of production for two shows. I also speculated an impending divorce lol.

Wasn't his Visa denied?? Or did that only supposedly only cancel a portion of his tour?

Initially only a portion of his tour was cancelled and he said they thought he would be able to obtain a visa for Treasure Island, LA, MOEMS and NYC. Looks like that didn't happen.

You think they are going to replace Tricky? I like Tricky and I've seen him about 5 times including at the Viper Room and that club in Hollywood that use to be a bank and is now a Buffalo Wild Wings but he's not one of my favorite artists.

I do want to check out the Biltmore.

I would assume the shutdown is the cause for the second round of visa problems/cancellations.

That sucks about Tricky. Didn't even think about how the shutdown would affect visas. I hope it doesn't affect any other artists.

In other news, there are some pretty sweet deals being offered by local businesses during MO. Check em out here.

I went to this art of remix seminar last night at the Grammy museum, Jason Bentley hosted a round table with Photek, RAC and Pretty Lights. Pretty Lights really impressed me with his love of music and technology, his current set up for live shows sounds amazing. I didn't realize that he controls everything from his rig, the drum sounds, keyboards, lights, etc...
