press release making the rounds today. ahem:
Radio Soulwax Presents:
Soulwax Nite Versions (Live)
2ManyDJs (DJ set)
JDH & Dave P (Fixed) (DJ set)
Remember last September when the Soulwax tour came to the US and only the "cool" kids knew about it and went to the show without you, and then kept telling you how you missed out on like, the best thing ever? Don't let it happen again! We're serious. This show will blow your mind. They don't come to the US very often, so don't miss out!
Following the successful US release of their Nite Versions record and an acclaimed tour in 2006, Modular is proud to announce the return of Soulwax to the US this April, including a final date at Coachella where the line up includes Rage Against the Machine, Klaxons, Air, LCD Soundsytem, The Rapture, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Interpol and Björk.
Soulwax consists of 2 Many DJs and brothers Stephen and David Dewaele along with pals Stefaan Van Leuven and Steve Slingeneyer. The band has toured the world over playing just about every dance club and festival that matters. They've remixed LCD Soundsystem, The Gossip, Daft Punk, and Gorillaz, produced tracks for Tiga, and have played along side everyone from Vitalic, Justice, Erol Alkan, DJ Hell and lots more!
The entire tour is called Radio Soulwax and each date is curated by the Dewaele brothers. Each night you will see Soulwax perform their Nite Versions record live, followed by a world famous 2ManyDJs DJ set, and DJ support from JDH and Dave P and some very, very special surprise guests along the way.
