Eat Your Own Ears and Kieran Hebden put together an incredible roster of talent for a one off special at WHP2010. The sheer breadth and variety of the acts performing on the night mirrors his wide range of influences and musical touchstones as an artist himself. From live experimentation and freeform jazz, to luminaries of the deep house and minimal techno scenes and the latest crop of post dubstep producers from the UK, all the acts share a common trait with the headliner, showing no fear of pushing musical boundaries and forms to their limit.

As well as a headline live performance by Four Tet himself, he is joined by labelmate Caribou and Detroit legend Theo Parrish will be flying in for one of his famed sets. Border Community’s James Holden and Nathan Fake will both be playing, as will precocious WHP resident Jamie XX and the enigmatic man in the mask Zomby. Up and coming young producers such as Actress, James Blake and Mount Kimbie all represent the generation of UK talent that came after Four Tet, all owing him a creative debt for paving the way forward with his illustrious and bold body of work.
    Rhythm is a dancer.

This thing has got rather huge this year.

Since beginning in 2006, Manchester’s Warehouse Project has moved from brewery to car park to super-sized digs in Trafford park, and in the process become one of the world’s leading dance music institutions.

This morning, the Project announced their line-ups for 2013 – and they’re as broad, bold and big as ever. From the 27th September until the 1st December 2014, there’s a whole host of pioneering DJs and live acts heading to take over the festival. The full line-ups are listed below, including nights curated by Paradise, Resident Advisor, Rudimental, The Knife, Julio Bashmore, Bestival, Four Tet & Caribou (feat. Thom Yorke DJ set), Annie Mac, Phoenix, Hospitality, Bugged Out, Now Wave and Heidi.

If i had to pick just one, it would be Mr. Hebden. Its hard to make me jealous living in nyc but this party series does the trick.
