I'm actually leaving Thursday morning, so that I can avoid any type of traffic, and avoid waiting in long lines to get into the campgrounds. Plus, if I get there early enough in the afternoon I can set up my camping spot, nap, and maybe start partying that night, rather than setting everything up at night?!

My friend and I are leaving on Thursday as well, but we're staying in a hotel since we couldn't obtain a car camping pass/companion pass. Anyone willing to let 2 guys (20 and 21), camp with some fellow Phoenicians? We'll figure out the car situation and definitely help financially! If not, we're still down to meet up with everyone at the festival!

First year attending Coachella and driving over from Phoenix! Directions say approx 4 hour drive... does it really take that long? I'm hoping the ride is shorter...

I am. Currently trying to find a place to stay either camping or hotel. Friends bailed but I am still planning on heading out.
