He seems to be the one having Coachella artists this month pretty much. The Kooks were just on the other week too.

If you have a choice of seeing the whole Jimmy Kimmel show or just the outdoor show, choose the outdoor show. I just went to see Josh Groban this week, and got the outdoor "mini-concert tix." It's standing room only. The people with the outdoor tix get closest to the stage. The people who are in the audience inside, walk outside during a commercial break & gather farther away from the stage.

The mini-concert was a set of 5 songs, with the first song being on Jimmy's show, and the other 4 taped for Jimmy's internet site.

I had a wonderful time. Lots of standing around, but for free, to get a real concert & be so close, hey it's worth it.

Finally, the outdoor tix have you there by 7:15, while the inside tix have you there by 6:15. The actual show tapes at 8:00. So if time is a factor, you may rather like the 7:15 arrival time (though the line was VERY long at 7:15). They do check the tickets to see if they match your driver's license. They said they get lots of xeroxed tickets & those folks don't get in.
