So this just got announced:

Right in the middle of downtown Boston at City Hall. Hmm.
(I'll definitely be going to Sunday; not sure about Saturday. Heck, it's all of a 10 minute subway ride from my place, might as well.)

Sweet. It is hard to beat riding the T into a festival. I might have to check this out as well.
Can't seem myself paying $120 for a bunch of bands that so frequently come to Boston, but its a nice start. Maybe I'll volunteer and try to at least catch The Shins.
Ra Ra Riot are from Syracuse, so there's a bit of local-esque homerism at play. They generally sell out the Palladium every time they play here. Although now that their smoking hot cellist has left the band, that may no longer be the case.
(Also Fun. aren't billed above the National per se, Fun is the Saturday headliner and the National are the Sunday headliner)
Man, the last concert I saw on City Hall plaza was a free show by Yeah Yeah Yeahs & TV on the Radio back in... 2006? Kind of nuts given where those bands have gone since to think of that as a totally free show back then.

scooped a ticket for this. Cheap, local and reasonably solid for what it is. I saw this article that has aerosmith in the title but no other mention. Typo or late announcement? Would rather them than Fun. tbh
