numark is creating live beats though with layers upon layers. maybe ritchie is a great producer, but live dj skills are sub par to numark

whats better, apples or peaches? its not a fair comparrison. you are looking at a showcase / turntablist DJ vs a beatmatching, 909, efx dj. The skillset it rather differnt.
who would I rather watch and bob my head to? Nu Mark. who would I rather listen to and dance to? Richie. They are two different types of mastery and your preferance will be mostly driven by stylistic variations.

I mean this is sick but it's nothing like what will be going down for J5's set. Maybe we will get 10-15 mins of them showing off cut chemist and numarks turntablist skills but most J5 fans wanna hear the original tracks. It'd be sick if nu mark and cut chemist each got do lab sets though. (if they have already announced solo sets somewhere forgive my ignorance)

Comparing numark to richie hawtin is silly. Richie doesnt even DJ anymore (he uses traktor) Richie is the most innovative digital dj, while numark is one of the best turntablists. Let me know when Hawtin starts cutting and scratching, or when numark starts syncing 4 decks of techno with 3 other techno djs, while controlling a live light show and we can compare their skills.
