L.A.'s Golden Road's Point The Way IPA and Hefeweisen are widely available in 16oz cans and tey are really good. They also now have a limited supply of cans available of their 8% abv Wolf Among Weeds IPA, Burning Bush Smoked IPA, and Get Up Offa That Brown ale.

You probably can't get any of these in Cali (or at least not easily), but these are Maine some brews I've been enjoying lately.

I've tried Ten Fiddy...any beer over 10% tastes like gnarly soda, ill be sticking to IPA and Lagers all weekend.

Maui seems to have all of their beers in cans. They have some nice refreshing options for the hot weather.

yea, shape, i ran into that same problem last time i went out, i wound up talking to the distribution guy this year and he said if you can find a local distributor out there, for a small fee they will ship up to 3 cases there for you.

You are correct. I had never even heard of Yuengling until i went to New Jersey for ATP in 2011. I drank a shit ton of it that weekend though.

I usually bring Sapporo, Guinness and for the ladies some Mike's Hard lemonade. I'm glad to see more breweries catering to the needs of festival goers, and beach bums. I might have to bring Heineken though, if they are running their free chilling stations again this year. Not having to constantly buy ice seems like a bonus. Although all that melted ice will be missed in my kiddie pool.

I always bring colorado beer and some hard cider. From breweries like ska and new belgium. Last year, the security asked about the beers we had. We handed them some cold ones and we were on our way.
