Yes, I'm wrong: it's an awesome transcode, the best maybe ever. Doesn't sound compressed or tinny at all. The obvious skips and glitches are awesome, too; really enhances my experience on the good old hi-fi.

Yeah, pretty weak. Chili Peppers have some good stuff, but they don't deliver live (unless old age has improved them substantially). Fortunately there are over a dozen other bands to be excited about, no matter what kind of music you're into.

(Last year I left during Black Keys because they were boring, and Radiohead because I didn't care. It's not about the headliners.)

I've seen thousands of people leave in past years during the final hour of any given night.

Mass gatherings: a portion of attendees usually leave them early, possibly to beat traffic, possibly due to fatigue, possibly for reasons known only to them and God. Definitely a phenomenon in need of further observation and comment.

It's going to be so awesome when they duplicate those skips and glitches during their set. The main stage sound system is like the most hi fi one ever.

It rarely ever is -- locations filmed being actually where it claims to be, I mean. (As an L.A. resident I've been jaded thru experience, driving past automobiles re-painted as "Gotham City SWAT" or "Bon Temps Police"... and seeing my alma mater as Starfleet Academy; wtf, the magic is ruined.)

Anyway, I recognize Downtown L.A. in the video: that fight scene in the end is at Little Tokyo's Weller Court by Marukai Market and I could've sworn I've seen that skyline behind the Phoenix poster somewhere on 2nd street. But as long as the Korean population are amused, I guess it goes with the song doesn't it?
