What a hard poll. They both have there good and bad or plausible and improbable aspects to them.
I would have to say that Star Trek has a few more slightly stupid items if you include everything done along the story line.
Star Trek Next Generation is by far the best of the Star Trek series.

Battle Star Galactica is fun, but Babylon 5 is a far superior story line and executed show.

The new Star Trek was really good. I only watched the newer series of Battlestar Galatica, the first season was great and then every season after got progressively worse until the last season was pretty much unwatchable. The original Star Wars trilogy will always be the best. Duh.....

First of all, this is like choosing a favorite child, even though I choose Star Trek in a heartbeat. I'm very disappointed by the output, and somehow Battlestar Galactica gets in the poll? What's next, Doctor Who?
