This band seems to be gaining momentum this year
Oh look, internet statistics. I hear that's the thing responsible for flooding our consciousnesses with that Macklemore guy who's so popular, except nobody knows who he is because he is not. These things are popular in a very narrow sense of crap that is popular among the people YOU know.
I see Of Monsters And Men is SO fucking popular in fact that it landed them right on the poster between Local Natives--a band that no one outside of LA has heard and even inside LA you have to really be looking for this crap to have found them--and Japandroids, a shitty band I only see mentioned on this board if anywhere.
Friday: Sparks, Jello Biafra ..., FOALS, Beach House, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, blur
Saturday: Wild Nothing, Portugal. The Man, Violent Femmes, Franz Ferdinand, Yeasayer, Descendents, Moby, Grizzly Bear, Hot Chip, It's New Order, bitch!
Sunday: Cloud Nothings, Tanlines, OMD, Paul Oakenfold, Grimes, La Roux, Eric Prydz, Nick Cave
THIS....
Yeah Budddyyy
It's probably gonna be something from Diiv (maybe this):
Or maybe something from Foals, probably from their first album.
I'm not entirely clear on the rules, but CMYK by James Blake will make every single head bob in the entire area that can hear it. Does that count?
You don't know what's in store, but you know what you're here for . . . Even though, you don't roll, trust me girl, you wanna be high for this.
Been lurking for awhile, but just signed up to post this.

Feel Good song of Coachella 2013
While Tegan & Sara are somewhat popular, I believe the average person probably knows more about Of Monsters & Men. Therefore I'll vote for this, coming off what has to be one of the best pop albums I've listened to in while.
