Camp entrance/arrival questions

Ok I just want to make sure I understand a few things clearly.
The camping pass is only valid with the person who buys it right? So if you arrive seperately, how do your buddies get into the grounds? Do you have to park your shit first, and then meet up with them to get back into the camp grounds? Or can you like get into the grounds seperately? And if it's the first one, does that mean everytime they want to get back into the camp you gotta escort them in? Lol. Also anyone can buy the car companion pass right? Not just the camp holder?
