Flip a coin. Heads, it's real. Tails, its fake.
If it says Coachella anywhere on it. You're good.
When you get the wristband, bite it. If there are teeth marks, it's real. If there are no teeth marks, the ground hog will go back into his hole.
Light it on fire. If it burns, it's no good.
Sent it to me in the mail. I'll verify its authenticity, and send it back when I can for just a small fee.
you'll get a paper one that you turn in to get the wristband at the show

lol @ tickets. I remember the tickets from ticketmaster. Have fun at the show, if you get a ticket! Be sure to bring three friends, as each ticket is for up to four people!
Real answer: there's an serial number on the back of the RFID. You can call some number (forgot which, email someone associated with Frontgate, Coachella, or Goldenvoice to find it out I guess) and they'll tell you if it's legit. Although that doesn't guarantee it won't be deactivated but it's what I did in 2011 when I couldn't afford a ticket in January and had to get one from Craigslist.
Also, get the guy to send you the receipt.
Craigslist makes me horny. Let's thicket.
Thicket where the thun don't thine. Badum-chee.
