I was looking at Sunday and I don't think that Nick Cave and OMD will conflict. Maybe you could switch them with Tame Impala or The Faint?

Just wondering ... what's the reasoning behind Prydz closing the Sahara instead of Pretty Lights? Wouldn't it make more sense if the higher billed act closes the stage? Or is it simply because we hope that Prydz will close the tent? (cuz I hope so too)

I think a lot of people feel that there's a decent amount of fans that want to see Pretty Lights AND Chili Peppers. Also Prydz deserves it more

lumineers are cool and all but they arent main stage material. more of an early outdoor or tent set.
they are akin to Emmitt Otter's Jugband Christmas with hipster cred.
fuks given, they are a great live band and very engaging.

Friday looks pretty accurate, but I think if Saturday and Sunday's new stage set times give extended sets so will Friday. I was thinking

Perhaps Tame Impala and The Lumineers should switch? The last time Tame Impala played, it was at 5:50 on the Outdoor. I wouldn't think that Coachella would put them in a earlier time slot than that this time around.

girl talk was on the outdoor because he had minimal stage setup and lights. pretty lights will be bringing his full light show with lasers and everything, not suitable for the outdoor.

Also, the sahara seems pretty crowded for a sunday, maybe move excision to another tent? hes touring with some stupid projector screen stage right now that would look ridiculous in the sahara. Disclosure in the new tent could work too

Excision kind of only makes sense in the Sahara. And from Jason Bentley's description of the new tent, it looks like Disclosure will be in the Gobi late, where they belong.

Thats what was said about sub focus last year and look where he ended up, all I'm saying is 12 acts all playing 1 hour sets in the sahara wont happen so someone needs to get moved and he seems like a good option

I can't think of an act like pretty lights that has played the outdoor before, doesn't rule it out but it seems like that kind of music does not belong on there.

Roni Size Reprazent in 2009 closed the outdoor. Not exactly the same but I could see Pretty Lights in that same spot.

That is more of an opinion based on him playing electronic events. As I mentioned, he also played the main stage at Sasquatch. For the record, I agree he will probably play the Sahara.

I think they all make sense too, its about which one makes the least amount of sense. Do you not agree that 12 acts is too many? Mimosa is a good option, but if he can play another tent why can't excision?
