I personally love both of them but did nobody see Moby at edc in 2008? He definitely played cheese.

This makes you sound like a clown. Listen to his essential mix and educate yourself. Moby and Prydz are both gonna throw great sets.

I happen to love "cheesy" music as well as deeper, techier stuff but Moby plays a comparatively cheesier set than eric prydz. Compare the above tracklist with this one.

Right!? That was the point of this thread. Not to compare, but to point people to this set and have them be as excited as I am to see it. I could see a lot of people brushing a Moby DJ set off...including me before I saw this.

That's exactly how i felt. So when i stumbled upon this I had to show some of my friends who were "meh" about the DJ set. Changed their minds real quick. Then I posted it here, thanx for the cred by the way!!

I agree that that Moby mix is really good! I will definitely not be missing his set. I just don't like people using the term cheesy as an insult. It just isn't very descriptive. If someone is generic or predictable or trendy or bad at mixing then fine, but don't just say cheesy.

Drop the "house" part - it's an insult associating the word house with it... Just cheese

I say we drop both the "cheese" and the "house" and call it what it really is....pure Tucson Sensuality. ;-)

I'm too lazy to scroll up but whoever created this thread obviously doesn't listen to enough EDM. These are two completely different styles. Read a book.
    I'd do suprefan.

since this thread is now about the term cheese, I will post my favorites of the cheese genre.

Nope, he never played Call On Me, and hasn't dropped it in his sets for a LONG time. And probably won't ever again. His sets at Identity SD and the Palladium both included a pjanoo edit, Allein, and a Mirage vs. We Are the People mashup. His performance at the Palladium was the best I've ever witnessed, hands down. GV needs to give him at least an hour and a half set time to even get close to getting the full Prydz experience. Hopefully they give him 2 hours. The dude is the godfather of progressive house.

Moby is an amazing DJ. I don't like his original music, but he's one of the more talented DJs out there.

He can literally play any kind of set, which is kind of the problem with Moby as a solo artist but also what makes him such a great act for Coachella. I have a feeling his set might be the best, if not the most novel or exciting, of the Sahara this year.
