    This gets tricky.

The google definition of electronic now includes "Produced by electronic instruments" as a sub defintion, but what does that mean? Is Jimmy Hendrix an electronic artist? Is Emancipator an Acoustic artist? David Bowie, the Beach Boys, Rush, Bonobo, Sound Tribe Sector 9, Big Gigantic?

So clearly we have to use a qualitative definition which would be subjective and based upon the sonic qualities of an artist rather than the instruments they use.

Someone has been feeling the Loops of Fury recently. Good tracklist, he seems to have pretty fixed preferences (read: seems to only like like 5 modern electronic producers)

Damn, that Moby full set someone posted at the beginning of this thread just made me a fan. I never got into his solo stuff but if his DJ set at coachella is anything like that then i will be stoked.

Is this the kind of shit Moby is gonna bring to the Sahara?!

Not saying that these tracks are bad but it's the same kind of stuff that a lot of the other DJ's will be playing and Moby should be one of the guys who really brings some deeper varieties to the table.

That's exactly what I was getting at when I said "If Moby plays a set like that Prydz will shit all over him."

This set is the same Electro House stuff that every other Sahara tent DJ will be playing. I hope he plays a set more like the first video, or I'll be leaving very quickly.

I think it will be more like the video in the first post. That potato mix seems like it was just something he put out there for fun. Not necessarily a good representation of one of his dj sets.

To be honest, there are several dj sets during the weekend that I'm really excited for and that could play truly epic sets but, based on other mixes they've done thus far this year, could really end up sucking, Prydz included. Lets all keep our fingers crossed and take the right drugs so it doesn't matter so much to those of us that really notice and care...;-) Gonna be a blast either way! If you aren't already on cloud 9 saturday night by the time Moby comes on, or Sunday night when Prydz plays, you are a hopeless loser...regardless of who plays what.

Shit, by the time sunday night rolls around, Prydz could play "Call On Me" for 90 minutes straight and i'd dance just as hard...smiling from ear to ear :-)

I'm hoping he gets on the mic for a bit and does his rendition of "Such Great Heights".

Definitely better than Prydz. This can not be argued.

maybe different tastes... different strokes... whatever. But I was really looking forward to Moby and only stuck around for 20 minutes. It was ok, but I thought nothing special. I really enjoyed Prydz! Just so many conflicts on Sat night I couldn't enjoy Moby as long/much as I wanted to
