Break a leg

I'm a regular coachella-goer and was looking forward to going again this year for the 5th time. However I broke my leg on Monday. So I'm wondering should I
a. sell my ticket
b. go in crutches

Has anyone been to the festival before in crutches?

I figure I'll be miserable in crutches with all the heat and not being able to dance and move around (especially in the sahara tent with all the great acts - LCD, Justice, Soulwax,..). I wonder if I can get a wheelchair for the weekend?

Any advice/ideas?

I think you might be able to go in a wheel chair. Check the FAQ and see what the deal is on wheelchair access. Cause they have a platform for wheelchair people so you can watch the main stage acts.

So sorry, I hope you get better but I think you should go in crutches (if you are going with some of your friends/relatives). You would be more miserable if you stay home and miss our beloved Coachella. Just be very careful if you choose to go, avoid or don't be too close to the RATM show, I guess.

Crutch it! Toughen up! Anyway, when i was on crutches my first year at college, people were very nice to me. You'll get a good workout and probably meet quite a few people. NO EXCUSES RECRUIT!

Last year I had crutches for coachella. It SUCKS. I mean, it fucking sucks.


but, it's better than missing the concert. I ended up just going in my boot the next day (against doctor's orders) and popped vicodin like tictacs to kill the pain. Then again, I had a mangled foot/ankle, not a broken leg. Yours is much worse.

Legs are easier to break than you might think. All you need is a fulcrum. When I broke mine, the toe of my hockey skate was down towards the ice...the laces were wrapped around my ankle for support as usual, but when I was knocked backward and my toe stayed stuck downward, the laces acted as a fulcrum and snapped my right leg just above the ankle. Made a nice loud "cracckkkk" too.
