you should probably go to pitchfork. i wouldn't be too optimistic about seeing bjork next year, anywhere.

edit - she is also rumored to be at bonnaroo.

Did Bjork ever announce 2013 dates in San Francisco as promised?

Has this festival ever shared a headliner with Coachella, past or present?

I dont think we will ever see Bjork as a headliner at COachella again. Which makes me wonder how they will book her in the future.

Dozens of other forum members have attempted to ridicule me for suggesting she doesn't have the drawing power to carry a Coachella headline slot in the future.

And it is now confirmed that drawing power means jack fucking shit when it comes to headliners, so who the fuck knows what kinda headliners we will have in the future.

people dont like to work with logic, they feel admitting that will be a slight towards her. But she doesnt, she is getting more and more niche in her output.

I wasn't going to Pitchfork this year until I found out about this... I'll go that day, if only for Bjork. Pitchfork has become so oversold I almost can't enjoy it anymore.
    4/10 - Henry Rollins
    4/19-21 - Coachella Weekend 2
    5/8 - Dillinger Escape Plan
5/24-26 - Summer Camp Music Festival
7/19 - Pitchfork... Only Friday. Björk!
    6/1 - Twin Shadow
    8/2-4 - Lollapalooza

It's been there from the beginning.. the weak Britpop headliners Friday; the rumors that DP was gonna play, that it was a done deal, then all of a sudden 'oops, no, not gonna happen'; and now the new album. It's all so obvious.

Seriously? She still has much more draw than the likes of The Stone Roses or Phoenix, maybe even Blur.

There would 36% less whining about the headliners if she was replacing the Peppers.

Roses/Blur is a major world exclusive double bill of 2 big acts that are overdue to play the US. *Remember you have to compare the 2 acts COMBINED against Bjork or whoever else.

I could see major complaining if all 4 headliners were "sissy foreigners".

Bring a raincoat when he's playing, even if it's a sunny day.....
