Postal Service>>the xx>>Phoenix makes too much sense

Its such a disaster that The Postal Service, The XX, Sigur Ros and Phoenix can't all be on the same stage.
It would be the greatest night of music ever. It does make sense to put Sigur Ros on at same time as Phoenix on the Outdoor to ensure there's an even balance between crowds.
But why can't they just break the rules once...!

Still need some explanation why this can't work on the main stage:
Postal Service>> The xx >> Phoenix(90+ minutes) >> Sigur Ros(75 minutes)
This is a festival that once put Black Star in the Sigur Ros slot back in 2005. Set times come out 2 days before the festival, so Phoenix will always be considered the headliner.
unfortunately, sigur ros is nowhere near big enough here in the states to warrant that. they are top 3 acts for me this year, and i'm sure a lot of people here feel the same way, but a lot of people in america are probably not familiar. i have never heard sigur ros on the radio.
I have a real hard time seeing Sigur Ros close the festival on the main.

I would very satisfied with this lineup as of today with the only major conflict for me being Hot Chip vs Spiritualized. I would have to see some half sets of course, but that is to be expected.
Can I ask what the Sigur Ros/main stage obession is about?
I thought the goal was to get your favorite band in the smallest venue possible (modest mouse outdoor for instance).
Agree. It would be a bold move and the crowd would be smaller but I just can't see Sigur Ros playing against the headliner. It would be very distracting to have Phoenix blaring in the background unless you are deep in the crowd at the Outdoor.
Nah, there is no way Phoenix could follow Sigur Ros(you know what I mean)
Sigur Ros will play the outdoor and New Order will close it down while Phoenix is on the main stage.
Where do I access your set times? I looked but can't find.

Thanks
I will say, the Hawtin set at Moog was very sparsely attended.
One major problem I noticed on your clashfinder is that you have the outdoor theatre shutdown for all of the headliners. Blur, The Stone Roses, Phoenix, and RHCP all play with a silent outdoor. I just looked through all my old set time booklets and a majority of the time, only 1 headliner had the outdoor shutdown for them. A couple of the years had 2 headliners with a silent outdoor. There has never been a year where all 3 headliners had the outdoor shutdown for them, let alone 4 "headliners" playing with a silent outdoor. There is no way all 4 of this years headliners play to a silent outdoor.
Friday: Sparks, Jello Biafra ..., FOALS, Beach House, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, blur
Saturday: Wild Nothing, Portugal. The Man, Violent Femmes, Franz Ferdinand, Yeasayer, Descendents, Moby, Grizzly Bear, Hot Chip, It's New Order, bitch!
Sunday: Cloud Nothings, Tanlines, OMD, Paul Oakenfold, Grimes, La Roux, Eric Prydz, Nick Cave
Blur and Stones Roses make the most sense, since it seems like Goldenvoice is trying to make a point of showcasing them. Maybe someone in between the both of them, overlapping by like 10-20 minutes.
If it's going to happen on two nights I think it will be Sunday and Friday.
Sigur Ros played the main stage at Lola surig the day and it completely sucked donkey balls.
I am sure they're going to get Refused timeslot in the outdoor. That makes the most sense.
Plus, they've indicated that they don't like to play during the day. I'm sure GV will respect that request,
