I've been unable to hit the boards the past week, but I have some time this week and will look over all the suggestions and update. I think I can swing a once a week update, but without someone like Boourns compiling all the suggestions into a spreadsheet it's difficult to do this often. Once again, if someone has Photoshop skills and more time/better judgment, I'll email the templates to them.

I think TNGHT belongs in the Gobi or the New stage. If they were in the Sahara that just about guarantees they would play early in the afternoon which seems weird

Bentley serves as a bridge of sorts between the younger, pacifier and dubstep crowd and the grown and sexy technophiles. He frames this divide in terms of a new Coachella stage that will be debuting this year.

"It's roughly a discotheque with a wooden floor and air conditioning that's meant to cater to the lost of art of DJing and mixing records," he says, adding that it's in contrast to the big lights and bombastic sounds of the Sahara Tent. "There's a place for that, but part of what we're responding to as Metropolis relaunches is that there are adults and other generations who want to listen to this music presented in a thoughtful way."

The return of Metropolis, in short, has Bentley totes geeked. "It's the music that makes my heartbeat faster and my brain start to fire quicker. My intention is not to have the program directly identified with me, but I am the best person to do it. It's just a matter of fact."

Okay, any proper EDM experts care to note any changes to the lineup for this stage and the Sahara now that we know a little more?

I dont think so they are fairly new I could easily see them around seBastian time last year. They are better than Bauuer granted but he has the harlem shake which means he will headline most likely.

you know its not even pronounced like "tonight" the actually pronunciation is "tinegite" which means there is no way they will be anywhere but the sahara in the afternoon.

Yeah you're right. I guess it kind of depends on your definition of headlining the Sahara. Last year Datsik closing the Sahara on Friday wasn't exactly a headlining sort of position, as well as Avicii weekend one, as both sets had incredibly small audiences

Think your close on Main Stage evening, but just listening to Holy Fire...sounds like another live monster from Foals - Total mainstage fodder, I'd be almost willing to bet even money they are your 6pm Mainstage performer...that slot almost always goes to a ass-kicker type act that can really get the skip the daytime arrivals going right off the bat.

Can't imagine them sacrificing Passion Pit there when Foals would be ten times better in that slot.

Can't imagine them sacrificing Passion Pit there when Foals would be ten times better in that slot.

Passion Pit will have one of the biggest crowds of the weekend, Foals can pack the Mojave but they don't need anything bigger than that. I see Foals in that tent, hopefully not at night because they'll lose the conflict war for me, but that'd be where I'd put my money.
