Pretty darn happy with the hip hop line up myself

J5 back together, one of the best concerts i've ever seen. Wu tang, i've heard there very little, if not nothing, to fuck with.

plus im pretty happy about action bronson, el p, and theophilus london.

I'm pretty happy with it but I just can't shake who's not there who I wanted... Kendrick, big boi, killer mike. I knew a Tribe reunion was a pipe dream but obviously that would have been incredible.

Stoked for Danny Brown, J5, El-P and even 2 chainz. That 2 chainz show is going to get real nasty. Not really excited for Wu. I saw them in 07 and all I remember is about 30 people on stage having a towel fight. I'll still be there for them.

The hip hop is great this year overall but I am pretty bummed that Big Boi is not on the lineup. I thought he would be there for sure.

I am still crying that Andre 3000 is too much of a bitch to perform anymore. I think that would make an excellent closer to the festival.

I've seen Danny Brown 3 times already. Each time, better than the first, largely due to each time the crowd feeling him more and more. The first time he was opening for Mobb Deep, and the second time he was opening for Rocky at the peak of Rocky's hype. The third time it was his own spot at Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin and the crowd new all the lyrics. It was beautiful.

could not be more stoked for Jurassic 5, and Aesop Rock is always ace and im intrgued by Earl, be weary of Wu Tang though I've heard they can be great live but last time I saw them it was 15+ guys walking in a circle incoherently mumbling then yelling

I feel like an Outkast booking is inevitable at some point. But with Andre's recent diva antics, and Big Bois new album I didnt think it was likely. Disappointing that a solo Big Boi set is missing. I've already seen about half the artist booked but still gonna be a great time. Hip Hop daytime acts are usually some of my favorite memories.

not thrilled on Wu-Tang...saw them at Street Scene in '06 and it was very forgettable.

very excited about Earl, Tity Boi will be fun as shit, Danny Brown is gonna destroy a tent..Theo L is dope.

Most excited about J5. Wu is very hit and miss. Danny and Earl are also high on my list. Might have to check out 2Chainz if conflicts allow, although I imagine he'll be on early at the main stage.

Aesop Rock was so good when he last played Coachella. I wish I could get excited about Pusha but I'd way rather see Clipse. Raider Klan will likely be a huge shit-show.

All in all I think the Hip Hop lineup this year is actually better than the last couple, even if there's no headliner.
