In some other thread like this I invited the OP to discuss regulations governing livery drivers in California. Licensure, insurance, safety inspections, you know, stuff like that. Fernie, I am curious to get your take on this?

I believe safety,reliability, trust is HUGE... and if your a hard worker who lives locally I dont see anything wrong with trying to work during coachella. It helps both parties out. When I went to coachella last year on sunday wk2 I took advantage of local drivers to get me home instead of waiting in those long cab lines.

I believe its a win win..

i got rides from locals every night last year. not all of them did it for money, and they were all very nice.
