Couldn't find anything specifically on electronic music for this year.
What're your favorite electronic acts for this year? What should not be missed?

AMAZING electronic lineup this year with a focus on house and techno - the best electronic genres. This is what's hot in Europe right now, seems Coachella wants to move forward past this cheese-EDM americans seem to be so set on (with a few notably terrible exceptions - danny avila, nicky romero, dillon francis, Knife Party, Benny Benassi, Hardwell, and Mord Fustang should all be skipped). Here are my highlights:
FRIDAY
Bassnectar
Dog Blood
Seth Troxler
Four Tet

Holy hell Sunday is going to be awesome!!!
Thank you, I completely agree. I feel as if I cannot leave the house without hearing something about EDM. I have a love for electronic music, but this "dubstep" crap makes me feel as if something is dying. It sounds like construction workers are building on crack. I'm being told that it is going to get bigger and bigger in the music industry, and I am just keeping my fingers crossed that it doesn't.

As my friend says, "Well it's garbage. People are allowed to like whatever they want to But those people are WRONG."
that was a good laugh.

This is what's hot in Europe? Do you even know what you're saying? The people you said NOT to see are more popular and are more "hot" in Europe than the ones you mentioned that you shouldn't miss. You're very opinionated and that's fine, but don't make dumb statements that aren't true.
I agree with everything Edmontonian has listed except I dont classify Dillon Francis in that same category as knife party hardwell danny avila etc. I saw him live and it was a lot better then i expected it to be. I wouldn't completely rule out seeing him. I might even watch him again if hes not conflicting with anyone I want to see that much.
But back to what I was saying this list is the list you should follow, its pretty much a perfect guide.
Edit: Also I know a lot of people who love to see bassnectars show but I really hated it.. like a lot. I don't know if it was because grizmatik played right before or if it was that the sound was way too loud, but I really did not enjoy myself. I don't plan on watching him this year.
No mention of Luciano yet?? His set should not be missed. Check out his essential mix from 11'.
And also Maya Jane Coles who i think is one of the hottest deep house dj's going right now. Very easy on the eyes as well.
