Well for the people that have not heard or do not know The Stone Roses yet, the best find of the year for you will definitely be The Stone Roses!

Palma Violets
The Three O'Clock
This ain't no middle of the mall shit.
DIIV
Divine Fits
IO Echo
Cloud Nothings
I'm excited to see Divine Fits too. Britt Daniel from Spoon and Dan Boeckner from Wolf Parade seem to have a good sound live...
Cloud Nothings are solid live. Good picks!
I wonder if DIIV's sound will be good live, but I'm hopeful!
My own:
Dog Blood - I hate Skrillex, but Boyz Noize seems to be the primary contributer and the two songs they've put out are cool as hell.
Jello Biafra - Not really a find being a Dead Kennedys fan, but I'm digging Audacity of Hype and can't wait to hear the new album. Freakin' Jello Biafra!
The Evens - Anything with Ian MacKaye in it is generally worthwhile, and this looks like a winner.
Wild Belle - I like her voice... Hope they will be good live.
4/10 - Henry Rollins
4/19-21 - Coachella Weekend 2
5/8 - Dillinger Escape Plan
5/24-26 - Summer Camp Music Festival
7/19 - Pitchfork... Only Friday. Björk!
6/1 - Twin Shadow
8/2-4 - Lollapalooza
Tame impala
Smith Westerns
- Thee Oh Sees.
- Parov Stelar.
^ These 2 made me stand up from the chair.
Vintage Trouble
Reignwolf
Both badass blues rock.
Oh and if you haven't heard The Wombats or Tanlines then you need to get your shit together.
Friday: Blur, Modest Mouse, Lou Reed, Passion Pit, Of Monsters & Men, Divine Fits Japanroids, Alt-J, Jake Bugg, Skinny Lister, FOALS
Saturday: Phoenix, The Postal Service, Dropkick Murphys, Two Door Cinema Club, Franz Ferdinand, Violent Femmes, SMD, Allen Stone, Ben Howard, Vintage Trouble, Reignwolf
Sunday: RHCP, Vampire Weekend, The Faint, Tanlines, Rodriguez, Pretty Lights, La Roux, Tame Impala, Father John Misty, Hanni El Khatib
I have had a small grasp on Nick Cave & Grinderman, but have never been a full fledged "fan". But I've been bumping anything and everything Cave lately - I'm sincerely impressed with this human. You will see me at both shows, no doubt.
Janelle Monae, Spiritualized, Loco Dice, Cloud Nothings, Paul Kalkbrenner, Blur, El-P, Kurt Vile, Nick Cave, Sigur Ros, Moby, Grizzly Bear, The Shouting Matches, Four Tet, Modest Mouse, Japandroids, Savages, Jessie Ware, Booka Shade.
I'm digging The Neighborhood. Also Lord Huron.
Seriously... no ones mentioned Robert delong?.... =\

Palma Violets - the Vaccines with thick accents like Glasvegas
Skinny Lister/Shovels & Rope - two bands more talented than Mumford & Sons
Savages - love me some British pop
Birdy Nam Nam - that four turntables thing is pretty amazing
The Colourist - not sure what I think about these guys. The female vocal tracks are pretty great. It seems like that's only about half of them.

Bonnaroo - 6/12-16 Manchester TN
Ice Cube - 6/28 Asheville
Kurt Vile - 7/17 Asheville
Wild Nothing - 8/1 Chicago

Alt-J
from the name I expected a crappy DJ. Very happy to have been wrong about that, but I'm not sure how to describe this band yet.
Wild Nothing and Polica have been great finds too.

Savages. This is right up my alley. I hope it closes the Gobi but it'll probably be on early, I presume

Just discovered Reignwolf earlier tonight, and dear lord am I happy I did! I was looking for this year's Gary Clark, Jr, and I think I may have found him
Does finding this video count?
Also Birdy Nam Nam??? That band is hilarious. I love Peter Sellers
On a serious not I really have enjoyed listening to Dam-Funk. Its like Roger Troutman is still alive!
Also for those of you discovering The Three O'Clock enjoy! They are one of my favorite bands at the concert and the fact that they are playing for the first time since 1988 or something and its the first time ever that the original four of The Stone Roses are playing in the US is making this a never thought it was going to happen in my life time event!!!
