Or, you know, everyone read something a blogger wrote about about two totally separate things, conflated them to assume that Dirtybird would be curating their own tent, went bonkers, and declined to inject common sense or rationality into the entire thing.

This would be so rad.
Normally I would assume that Nguzunguzu, Blawan, Night Slugs people would be too epic for the Do Lab yet too under the radar for Sahara. But Machinedrum, Deru, Kraddy and Salva all kinda fit that description and they just slayed it last year. Especially Machinedrum. Jesus.

i remember when mimosa closed sunday night at the do lab during the same time gorillaz was performing on the main stage.... right when mimosa started he straight blasted the bass and you could see all these people all running towards the do lab. now mimosa is on the actual coachella lineup. i think thats great. people are starting to appreciate the sound these artist are creating.
a lot of the artist that are on do labs lineup are promoted by do lab events, so you could expect to see acts like ott, photek, trill murray, paul basic, super vision, phutureprimitive, little people, polish ambassador, ect...
who i would love to see at the do lab this year would be
RONALD JENKEES
keys N krates
Khemehk
robin carnage
MATHS TIME JOY
KOI
break science
THRIFTWORK
munis
SEXYTIME
nimo productions

Machinedrum was one of the best sets of the entire fest last year. Real excited to see who will be playing this year
IT'S MY NEW COACHELLA 2013 MIX! 60 of this years artists in only 45 minutes!

Maybe they will get Sepalcure....
XXXY, Jimmy Edgar, Falty DL, and Shlomo would all be good Do Lab acts.
Falty DL might be too outside of the circles that the Do Lab usually pulls from.
Shlohmo is a possible: he's in the same WEDIDIT collective as last year's Salva. His material from (the excellent) Bad Vibes is way too chill for the Lab in my opinion, but his rap remixes and DJ sets kill it.

I'd like a day at the Do-Lab curated by Pumpkin.

They better have it. I really enjoy the Do-Lab every year. It's one of the best parts of Coachella.
Does anyone know who the DJ was who also played the Trumpet during his set. I love creative DJ's and he did a great job.
I was just to much into the set to look up who it was at the time.
