I'll be in town Thursday night. This being my first Coachella, I'd love to meet with some people beforehand. I will repeat my offer from the other, similar thread, to buy 40-ouncers for everyone. If you pour it in a martini glass it looks classssy. Is there an actual time and place agreed upon?

These are all the bands I want to see. I will have to pick and choose once the schedule is announced. However, I have bolded the ones I hope to not miss. I am fucked on saturday, and the whole rage/infected mushroom situation is kind of irritating me, but we will see what happens.

I missed this. I do not just like synthpop stuff. wtf? I like Crowded House and TGTBATQ and Travis at this year's fest--decidedly not synth-pop bands. And the JAMC and the Arctic Monkeys. etc.

Adderall is just a slight step down from dex, but a significant step. It's the best. I mean, it truly amps you up. We used to call them "study pills" and we'd get a month of homework done in 2-3 days. Maybe that's a little exaggerated, but not much.

Adderall is incredible. Absolutely incredible. It really opens your brain up in absurd ways and you get tons of stuff done, including things that don't need to get done. One time we had gone to some club and then an after party and our friend who was driving had to go straight to work, so we went with him and ate a bunch of adderall. I had a sketchbook in my bag, and we ended up redesigning the human nervous system and it was very detailed. I wish I still had that damn sketchbook.

Adderall is incredible. Absolutely incredible. It really opens your brain up in absurd ways and you get tons of stuff done, including things that don't need to get done.

I have mixed feelings about people using Adderall to get stuff done. It was certainly incredibly common in both my high school and college, both of which were high-stress, high-expectation environments. And it works miracles, especially if you're the procrastinator type, to be hyper-productive and really create work that's not only finished but also of quite high quality. But the thing is, it's sort of like athletes who use steroids... it creates problems due to the uneven playing field.

Nothingman - If you're looking for hearing protection, you best get to ordering. It took 3 weeks for us to get the baby-sized earmuffs for our son last year. Also, we went to the Village Pub the night before and there was no problem with having him with us. We sat on the patio and he slept in his car seat the whole time.
