Are those under 18 allowed in campsite IF accompanied by parent?

Hi,
I was planning to bring my son (8 years old) and was a bit confused by the language in the Campsite rules section regarding age. Here it is:

"All camping attendees MUST be 18 years of age or older & have a vaild I.D. or be accompanied by parent or legal guardian. Sorry NO exceptions"


I think it breaks down like this:
1) All camping attendees must be 18 years of age or older & have valid ID

OR

2) Be accompanied by Parent or Guardian

So if it is #2, we will be ok. Can someone confirm for me?

Sounds pretty straight forward to me. Your son should be okay so long as he isn't out and about at night without you.

Or Guardian! A piece of paper giving permission doesn't work. Legal guardian only through the courts.

One thing that's worth noting is that this is basically only enforced at the entrance to the campgrounds from the outside world. It isn't enforced - and couldn't be, logistically, at the entrance to the campgrounds from the venue.
