I think it's a little much stretching it out over 5 days.

I bought the 3 day pass (its a nice excuse to go home for a few days, see the family, and some cool bands)....but fuck them for putting Primus on Thursday. No way was I dropping an extra 100 bucks for Thursday. Oh well.

I am looking for a place to stay...seems hotel prices may have already been jacked up. Also, GA Car Camping to both weekends of Coachella...looking to get rid of one weekend in trade for 1 VIP or 2 reg. 4 day passes to bottle rock.

    "GOLDRUSH" gets you $50 off?

Yes, GOLDRUSH gets you $50 off. As for places to stay in Napa, good luck. There ain't shit there, trust me. You can go the super expensive route downtown with their new hotels, or you can possibly try the Best Western (its pretty close to the venue) or a couple of the other "cheap motels", but there aren't many of them, and most likely are booked. I'm only going because I have family there and a house to stay at.

Got two 4 day passes, this looks like its going to be a good show. Bit of a cluster fuck for sure but still should be fun. Luckly we've got some family that lives about 40 mins from Napa but that's still closer then LA and can't turn down sme free floor space in times of a festival.

Jeezus, this lineup looks like the list of bands that got left off the Mark McGrath Cruise (Blues Traveler! Cake! Train! the Wallflowers!). Lineup is great if you like second tier American bands I guess. Seems like Friday is the least awful day w/ Alabama Shakes, the Shins, Dirty Projectors and Flaming Lips.

While you named 4 lonely 90's bands, they also manged to snag Black Keys, Primus, Cafe Tacuba, Flaming Lips, Janes Addiction, Alabama Shakes, Shins, Dirty Projectors, Iron and Wine, Grouplove, Best Coast, Rogue Wave, Edward Sharpe, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, Dwight Yoakam, Andrew Bird, Sharon Van Etten, and Bad Religion. That's 18 bands I'd wanna see.

It sounds like they're trying to make this pretty easily accessible by shuttle from all over the Bay, while discouraging carpools with fewer than 4 people. From http://bottlerocknapavalley.com/bott...questions.html:

WHAT ABOUT GETTING TO NAPA AND PARKING?
There will be plenty of ways to get to here that can help reduce traffic and allow BottleRockers to enjoy themselves without endangering themselves or others. Shuttle buses from San Francisco Hotel partners will deliver BottleRockers to the front door of the Expo and Downtown Napa in a little more than an hour. Shuttles from Sacramento, Davis, Vacaville, Sonoma, Marin, and more will be running every day (and night) of the fest.

Parking in Downtown Napa will be extremely limited. In March, BRNV Pass holders will be contacted with convenient and discounted parking opportunities. Please purchase your dedicated parking permit in advance, rather than searching for "at-will" parking in Napa's Downtown during BottleRock week.

Those BottleRockers who do choose to drive to Napa are highly encouraged to carpool in large numbers. Parking will be secure and pre-assigned. Buy your parking pass in advance and save money by getting 4 or more BottleRock Friends together in one vehicle. Dedicated offsite parking lots will range in price from $40 for 2 people, per day to just $4 per day. The "$4 for 4" plan rewards carpools of four or more BottleRockers with a parking price of $4.00. Be the people that pay only $4 bucks! We will provide you with ride share options and a community of carpools to join in late February / early March.

"Buy your parking pass in advance"

I didn't see anything about a parking pass on ticketfly.

$40 parking if less than 4 people seems pretty chumpy. Especially when the difference is so large if you have 4.

I missed that part, too, initially. Read carefully - it looks like they'll begin offering parking passes in March.

There's no parking in Napa guys, seriously. Especially around the fairgrounds.

Shuttles make this so much better.

So it's like Treasure Island with a longer shuttle ride.

It says convenient parking for VIP. Then again who wants to drive with all the craft beer, wine and after partying they are going to have.

A shuttle ride from Sacramento (possibly going through Jameson canyon) into Napa for this sounds like hell. Call it an hour away with traffic....so gotta get up and go early, then another hour ride back, then having to do it two more days after that. Fuck that.

LOL. Sacramento and SF are both over an hour away with zero traffic.

They officially added Jacskson Browne and Matt Nathanson. And they said that Charlie Musslewhite is playing with Ben Harper.

They also said there are spots for some more adds.

I haven't seen her since she did Warped Tour a few years back, but she was still pretty solid and put on a good show.

I might go, but it's so damn expensive and not enough people I want to see. Saw most of these people at Outside Lands 2011, but maybe I can pull some more money to see 'em all again.

People tell me the hotels are cheap in Calistoga and it's not too far of a drive. That's what my co-workers say who love the over priced hotels in Napa.
