I apologize if I didn't put all the right names on the list, but I pretty much took them right off of the other glowruption thread. If the artist you think we should have a glowruption isn't on the poll, just say they're name in a reply.

In the end, it'll be up to whoever wants to set everything up to decide what set to do it at. The poll gives us an idea as to what some people might like, but in the end, it's up to whoever wants to put in the work for making it happen. It sounds like a lot of people are up for Disglowsure. I was sort of rooting for Simian Mobile Disco, but they don't seem to stand a chance haha, and I think it'll be awesome either way.

The glowruption that was originally planned for Orbital was a smash, then it inspired the Chemical Bro's glowruption, which was quite memorable itself. Now, it seems that because of these two amazing events, a glowruption is a standard every year at Coachella?

No.

Those were two moments that deserved that many glow sticks to be tossed in the air at the same time. Since then, no act Coachella has provided deserves a glowruption. Stop trying to recreate these moments in time; you will never get The Pyramid again, instead they will come with a multi layered cube called Etienne de Crepey and disappoint you.

None of the artist listed have any tracks that are worthy of a glowruption. Which of SMD's songs can compare to the epicness of "Galvanize"? Do you think "Cinema" by Benassi can garner enough interest as Orbital's "Satan"?

I mean, who was there for the Radiohead glow throw other than Amy and her 3 kids?

Stop trying to recreate Coachella magic moments of the past for fuck's sake. It won't have the authenticity you seek in the experience. Daft Punk won't show up and even if they did, are two guys popping up on stage in robot helmets waving to the crowd like The Queen going to change the experience? Will hearing "One More Time" with them on stage with Phoenix be the pinnacle of Coachella for all the time its been around? No. That was 2006 and I was there.

It's 2013, glo sticks are killing children and seagulls and people in 3rd world country. And ravers, but who cares about ravers.

It's time to wake up people, we've been destroying the earth for so long, lets be conscious of the wrongs our ancestors have done to mother earth. It is our planet that we share, so lets stop doing shitty glowruptions and reduce the need to produce glowsticks. Most of you won't even use your glowstick till it runs out, you'll just lose it while having fun.

Please, don't waste glow.

Mexico has a large surplus of fireworks and since fireworks turn into ash, that is less waste. What a wonderful idea Vigo! I think fireworks in the crowd for Phoenix would be a game changer, no longer the glowruption, but some amazing phrase punning a plethora of fireworks.
