I used to like beach house a lot more. My opinion now is that they are an above average but not great indie band. Bloom is overrated. They are good but not great live.

That's my 2 cents.

Definitely listen to their second album, Devotion. It was my introduction to Beach House, and while their sound has gotten bigger and dreamier, it's still a lovely album. I really hope they play "Gila" again at Coachella.
