Oh man. Look how empty Datsik was...0:52 to 1:02 on mute...I hate watching things like this, even if it's an act I don't like.

I'm not an electronic expert and haven't counted the artists yet, how many Sahara acts are there per day? Enough for two stages?

One of the best acts i've ever seen at Coachella was a Belgian womens' choir called _Scala & Kolacny Brothers_. They closed the Gobi, against the Chemical Brothers on the mainstage. They were unbelievably awesome ... and they had a tiny, tiny crowd.

guess i just really want Prydz vs. RHCP, so that is what I am predicting.

I am still sore about missing that set. I listened to them a lot prior.

That Datsik crowd was smaller than I imagined it would be, wow.

Indeed. I don't see how it will be possible to see every act on the top two lines on Friday, PLUS Sparks, HTDA, and Metric. Fuck. Can't see any of those playing before 6pm. Some of these must-see Friday and Saturday acts should switch with some of Sunday's filler.

Oh my god, this would be so perfect for me. Please let this happen. Or these three in any order on the same stage please. My worst fear is that they will conflict.
Arcade Fire - Sir Richard Bishop, Bill Orcutt - Spoon - Paul McCartney - Steve Gunn - Beserktown Fest - Slint - Sleep - Swans - Owen Pallett - Neutral Milk Hotel - Chris Thile & Edgar Meyer - Bobby Bradford Quartet - Matana Roberts - Wadada Leo Smith, Anthony Braxton - Thurston Moore, Sebadoh - Songs for Unseen Warhol Films - Ben Frost, Tim Hecker, Pete Swanson - Ryoji Ikeda - Slowdive - A Winged Victory for the Sullen - John Zorn Marathon

Chase and Status played to that type of sized crowd in 2011, and they were fantastic. But Datsik....probably sucked hard.

So Excision>Pretty Lights>Eric Prydz to close out the Sahara on Sunday night? This is of course assuming there isn't a new stage.

As great as these set times are, you forgot my favorite Sahara act on Saturday: Huoratron.

Also, I dont think Richie Hawtin is going to play to a silent dance area.... so 70min of silence in the hypothetical 2nd dance tent wouldnt happen.

Actually I think Eric Prydz would still be in the Sahara especially since I am assuming that The Sahara will be much bigger then the new tent.

If the new stage is like the Oasis Dome then I could easily see TNGHT headlining it on their night. shit would get insane.

The time has come for someone else to take over the predictions threads.
It's been fun, but I am retiring Coachella at least for this year which is unfortunate because this would have been my 10th in a row!
Oh well. The lineup looks great. I'm sure it'll be a good year. But I'm stepping away from Coachella for now.

I think the first order of business is to decide whether or not to plan like there is an additional stage.

You could totally take it over if you'd like. You know the format/rules/etc.. Can you design and update a template?
