So I have been to Coachella a couple of times and had a great time at all of them (01, 07, 10, 11, & 12W1). Regardless of the line-up you are always guaranteed to have a good time. I think that last year was the year that capped it all off pretty nicely for me. This year I will not be attending. I have too many gripes and I think I want to take my business to Sasquatch this year or maybe just a bunch of small festivals. This year's line-up isn't the best. However, for those of you that didn't see a ton of shows last year this line-up is for you. You see 90% or so of the line-up consists of bands that played last year or in the past at some point. I hope that everyone going has a good time. Drink one for me.

So you mean that most of the bands on the lineup have played live shows in the past? That is incredible information.

Yeah, GV really shouldn't allow people on the lineup to tour at all for at least a year before playing Coachella. And then not for a year after, right?

Maybe Coachella should start inventing bands so that they can have a lineup full of acts that have never played before.
