Monsters and Men are actually a guilty pleasure for me.... prefer them over Mumford and the Lumineers. Ed Sharpe is still the best though.

Lumineers and Monsters and Men sound like cheap rip offs of good music we were listening to ten years ago.

Couldn't have said it any better myself. I've only been into this music for around the past 3 years but these bands are just generic copies of much better indie bands that came out a while back. Nothing is great about them and they just make radio friendly indie-pop songs. If you're into that, then there's no problem. I just don't really like when the genre is that radio friendly or poppy, it just doesn't do it for me.

I decided to give Modestep a shot at EDC this past year...biggest mistake of my life. It was the most uncoordinated mix of electronic music and live instruments I've ever heard. They stopped a track and started screaming at the audience and shit, it was horrendous.
