It's about damn time. They are phenomenal live and I am absolutely going to lose my shit during this entire set.

That first video up there kicks some serious ass.

Any chance there will be live viola? This one is very VU/John Cale-esque. Would love to see it live.

New album coming out in April: http://pitchfork.com/news/49337-thee...nce-new-album/

"These songs occur in the mindset of a world that's perpetually war-ridden. Overall, it's pretty dark, and much heavier than our other albums."

    Sounds like fun.

I've seen these guys a few times (Treasure Island, opening for I think TV On The Radio, opening for Chk Chk Chk at a small show on Berkeley campus, and somewhere else). Great band. Lots of fun live.

Thee Oh Sees have consistently great album art. Oh and that isn't a new video, that's a single from the album Putrifiers II, which came out last year.

Yay Bay Area bands! These guys are so much fun, and am very excited to (hopefully) sweat out my Saturday night alcohol with them. I wish they would move some of the early guitar bands from Sunday to Friday or Saturday. They're all going to conflict with each other, and it's bumming me out.
